Meet Our Staff

Principal: Miss Rosanna

In the 18 years that Rosanna has done dancing and trained in singing, two years of that were devoted to being a Jazz and Tap teacher at Revue Dance Academy and performed with “The Wallace Academy” for six years. Rosanna had been an assistant teacher at a young age at Starstruck Productions helping out with the younger age groups.

Rosanna has also choreographed dances for many students to enter in the eisteddfods. When she was in High School she was the Dance Captain at West Moreton Anglican College and choreographed dances for Dance Company.
Rosanna was also a dance teacher at Redbank State School (primary). Rosanna has her teacher’s certificate for the CSTD exam syllabus under the banner of Tap and is eligible to sit students for CSTD Jazz and Ballet examinations as well.

At a very young age Miss Sharnae knew she had found the passion for dance however it was not actually in hip hop, in fact at the age of 3 she started Ballet and Tap and from then over time she expanded her genres of dance to jazz, funk and contemporary. It was not until she was around 9 years of age where she started taking an interest to hip hop/ street dancing and as years progressed Miss Sharnae found that this was not only was her strongest genre of dance but also the one she enjoyed and loved the most. Thanks to St Peter Claver College’s well presented dance curriculum, it really took a great turn for her. Not only did she continue to expand her knowledge of different genres of dance at this school, but her performance and choreography skills improved incredibly. The following list shows a couple of her experience and highlights of dance that she have been involved in:

Captain of the Claver Jnr Elite dance team, One of the Choreographers for clavers sports/subject classes and winning Elite dance teams, Bring It on Academy All Stars team, Travelled to New Zealand to launch Bring it On Academy NZ, 2011 started teaching at RDA, Held a workshop at Woodcrest College, 2012.

HipHop Teacher: Miss Sharnae

I have the privilege to once again teach the Fun Jazz class, generally for students between the ages of 7 & 13.

“2013 will be filled with lots of new routines, new friendships and smiles :)”

Miss Jacinta has been dancing for roughly 15 years and has loved every bit of it. She has performed at many fetes, concerts, shows and eisteddfods. Miss Jacinta has participated in many dance workshops, some held by well known and talented Choreographers, such as - Napoleon and Tabitha (Choreographers for 'So You Think You Can Dance America') and Tony Tzar (Currently back up dancing for the  'Alicia Keys' tour). Miss Jacinta was offered a short term scholarship for a dance workshop in America but made the hard decision to not accept at the time of offer. She participated in majority of dance nights & musicals for school, musicals including, Grease and Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat and was also Jazz Dance Captain 2007.

Tinies Teacher: Miss Nikki
Ballet: Miss Hayley

Miss Hayley has danced for over 14yrs and in that time and has also taught Jazz, Tap, and Ballet to all age groups for 5yrs. During this time she has participated in many eisteddfods, exams, teaching seminars, and performances. During grade 6, Miss Hayley was given the opportunity to be a part of Ballet Theatre Of QLD, which she thoroughly enjoyed, which lead her to many experiences such as performances in shopping centres, travelling to Rockhampton for numerous performances and then the end of yr performances at QPAC Play house. Then in yr 7 she was a part of a group called the Young Dancers Academy. After many years of dancing and training, Miss Hayley had to take time off from dance which she missed dearly, due to having a daughter and getting married and then just recently welcoming their newest member into our family, their son. Miss Hayley is very excited to be back at dancing and teaching. Miss Hayley works her classes hard, but is fair - She is very proud of her students and wants them to use their full potential.
